Discover Intensely blue
While in Montreal, a man breaks his glasses by accident. To help out, he puts on his swimming goggles adapted to his eyesight. Everything changes. Through its intensely blue lenses, everything becomes radically different. Discovering that a deluge threatens to engulf the city, he begins to see beyond appearances, perceiving everything around him with dizzying lucidity. With his feet in the water, he watches the swimmers in the pool turn out to be unlikely characters, guessing that something is going on, that nothing will ever be the same again. A surrealist reverie with tangy humor, which questions the impact of the gaze on our perception of reality.
Installed in the swimming pool, the spectators slip into this intensely blue world. They encounter a fresco of fanciful characters, carried by an unlikely quartet: an acrobat actor, an actress violinist, a formidable black belt and the eternally young Élisabeth Chouvalidzé.
“Suddenly you understand that everything around you is representation. That you are part of the performance. And suddenly the curtain falls, and everything disappears, including you and me, who are tapping their feet because we want to stay on stage, even if there is no more stage, there never was . “
